Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• App: the GoodBites mobile application.
• User: any person who uses the App.
• Partner: a business offering surplus food through surprise bags.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter binding contracts.

3. Account Registration

• Provide accurate name, email, and phone information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Ordering and Payment

• Orders are prepaid through the App unless otherwise stated.
• Prices, availability, and bag contents are set by Partner stores.
• Surprise bag contents may vary and are subject to change.
• All purchases are for personal use unless you have written consent from the Partner to resell.

5. Pickup and Delivery

• Arrive within your stated pickup window.
• Missed pickups may result in forfeiture of payment.
• Repeated no-shows or abusive behavior toward staff may lead to account suspension.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• You may cancel in-app until the pickup window approaches (typically 3 hours before it begins).
• If a Partner cancels or cannot fulfill your order, you will receive a full refund automatically.
• For other issues, contact support within 24 hours with relevant details.

7. Partner Stores

GoodBites connects you with independent Partner stores. Partners are responsible for food preparation, labeling, and compliance with local health regulations. GoodBites does not prepare food.

8. Limitation of Liability

GoodBites acts as an intermediary marketplace. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
