Delete Your GoodBites Account

GoodBites is the mobile app that connects you with partner stores offering surprise bags of surplus food. This page explains how to request deletion of your GoodBites account and the personal data associated with it.

Option 1 — Delete in the GoodBites app (recommended)

You can permanently delete your account directly from the app. You must be signed in to your GoodBites account.

  1. Open the GoodBites app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile (your account tab).
  3. Under Account, tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the confirmation message, then tap Delete Permanently.
  5. You will be signed out and your account will be removed.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your GoodBites account:

Retention period

In-app account deletion is processed immediately. Email deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days. Order and transaction records that we must retain for legal or financial compliance may be kept for up to 7 years, after which they are deleted or anonymized where permitted by law.
